My design experience spans financial services, public sector education, and digital start-ups. Having worked within large global corporates, I am adept at collaborating with multi-disciplinary design teams and presenting strategic solutions to stakeholders across multiple time zones.
I pride myself on creating high-performance digital tools that bridge the gap between complex data and intuitive user experience. By fostering strong relationships between design and engineering, I ensure a “joined-up” global approach that creates operational efficiencies and a consistent experience for the end user.

Journeys
Life insurance journey optimisation
Redesigning the bancassurance journey for a major UK high street banking group. This work demonstrates inclusive and regulatory thinking by transforming complex financial requirements into a series of clear, accessible user journeys that prioritise informed decision-making and ease of use.

Interfaces
My goal within the insurance industry was to digitise legacy customer touchpoints to meet modern standards. I recognised that many essential tools, such as calculators and rate cards, were being delivered via PDFs or Excel spreadsheets. I led the transition of these assets into responsive web widgets and standalone applications, significantly improving ease of use and engagement.

Replit: keeping pace when design isn’t driving the process
A reflection on an AI-led hackathon where momentum threatened to outpace problem-solving. It’s a look at how “seductive” prototypes can cause teams to get distracted from solving the right problem

The wild west: designing for real-time trading
SportingOptions: A 2003 Flashback. Set during the early transition from dial-up to broadband, this case study explores the design of a high-frequency financial and sports exchange. It highlights the navigation of technical constraints and early internet speeds to deliver a market-leading trading platform.
